Identity & Mission
What does "Puritan" mean in your name?
'Puritan' speaks to the experiential emphasis of the seminary, where we seek to cultivate a lived theology that transforms. In other words, 'Puritan' means a faith that is deeply felt—a lived theology that transforms the head, heart, and hands for service in a global world.
What is "Experiential Theology"?
It is the conviction that the deepest study of God leads to the deepest love for God, by His Spirit. It is truth that moves beyond mere intellectual assent to shape how students live, feel, and behave.
How do you resolve "Doctrinal Depth vs. Experiential Warmth"?
We insist that true doctrine must lead to warm experiential piety; we marry the robust mind of Reformed orthodoxy with the fervent heart of Puritan piety.
Finances & Affordability
What is the promise of "Radical Affordability"?
We are relentlessly committed to graduating students debt-free, removing the single greatest financial barrier to ministry for a generation of leaders.

Yes, with thankfulness for the generosity of donors, anyone in the degree programs can apply for a scholarship.
